Welcome to "Show and Tell" blog. It is a pleasure to connect with everyone and share you our updates and research on Native American culture.
"Show and Tell" is a student short film that follows the story of a Native American 2nd grader who wants to share his hand drum in class; however, his classmates bully him for being different compared to everyone else. He then borrows his best friend's toys in hoping he could connect with his classmates.
It is a simple story of a boy who wants to look cool in school, yet it dives deeper on acknowledging cultural acceptance and bullying towards Native Americans at an early age. We hope through this film, we can open the perspectives towards families and children to learn about Native American heritage and embrace their own culture.
