The #StopSanQuentinOutbreak campaign is an effort to raise awareness about the growing spread of the COVID-19 virus at San Quentin State Prison, after the recent transfers of over 120 incarcerated persons from CIM prison - a known "hot spot." As of 7/01, 1,121 people have been infected with COVID-19. My goal as a graphic designer is to design posts that align with the recordings from my director who is taking a stand in this project. My responsibilities include:

  • Use digital illustration, photo editing software, and layout software to create designs (Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Sketch)

  • Design layouts, including selection of colors, images, and typefaces

  • Coordinating with the director to fulfill the design as wished while incorporating unique ideas that support the recorded audio

  • Reviewing final layouts and make improvements when necessary
